ABOUT

My photography journey began in high school, where I fell in love with the process of hand developing and printing my photos in the darkroom. I went on to continue my photographic studies at Massey University, graduating with a Bachelor of Design with First Class Honours in 2012. To date I have photographed over 250 weddings across New Zealand.

Home has always been Hawkes Bay, where I live with my husband, Joe, and four young children.

My Approach

My approach is relaxed, organic, and often intuitive - anticipating moments before they’ve even happened. I am an observer by nature, seeking out narratives of joy, love and intimacy between you and your loved one/s.

As cliche as it sounds, I will forever be inspired by light - how it falls, the softness and the shadows. It’s something that I cannot help but always notice.

With over a decade of experience, I’ll provide as much or as little direction as needed - holding space for you to feel relaxed and in the moment, whilst paying attention to detail, balance and subtle gestures.

I limit my bookings to just 15 to 20 weddings per year throughout New Zealand, which allows me to produce work with a high attention to detail.

KIND WORDS

Thank you so, so, so much darling Natalie. The photos are absolutely amazing - we adore them. We just had a quick flick through last night but we are going to have a proper viewing session with bubbles this weekend. Thank you very much again, you are the best and we will always be grateful to you for capturing our magical day. You made it so special. Lots of love xx
