Family Portraiture

My portrait sessions are centered around capturing natural moments between you and your loved one(s), I very much take a documentary approach with some subtle posing if needed - but mostly I just ask that you focus on each other and enjoy your time together, because that’s when the magic happens!

Sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home, or outside as a chosen location. Outdoor sessions are scheduled an hour before sunset to take advantage of the beautiful soft golden light - there’s a reason they call this time of day “the golden hour”.

All sessions include a set number of digital images, which are yours to choose from your full gallery. Additional digital images many be purchased for $25 per image, or if you happen to fall in love with all of your images, you can purchase the entire collection for an additional $225.

FAQs

01How do we book in?

Send me a message via my enquiry form here. From there I can advise on available dates for your choice of session. A 50% deposit is taken to confirm your booking.

02Can you suggest some location options?

Absolutely. I know of many beautiful spots around Hawkes Bay, we’re actually quite spoilt for choice! If you have an idea of what you might like we can go from there.

03What should we wear?

Comfort is always key! Ideally it’s best to avoid clothing with bold graphics or heavy branding. Natural tones and textures always work well - but that doesn’t have to mean beige! Think soft earthy tones and chunky knits. Try to co-ordinate rather than match.
